I'm getting a large number of requests from software companies for actual machine data to use for development and testing. It's fine if the data is anonymized and out of date. There are about a dozen academic/government/non-profit machine test beds I'm familiar with that are at various stages of implementing MTConnect. I expect data from those to be available in the not-too-distant future.

However, in the short term there is an opportunity for existing MTConnect implementers to work with some new entrants that are approaching MTConnect from the world of statistics and analytics rather than manufacturing or shop floor monitoring.

If you are interested, please contact me. I'll be at the TAG meeting 1/21-1/22/2015, reply to this thread, or PM me.

You can take a look at the ITAMCO Manufacturing Education Center(http://www.itamco.com/itamcomec.html), we have two agents that are public. The machines don't run all the time as it is a school, but during school hours you can get some data.
