Hello,

I am using the agent.mtconnect.org to simulate a mtconnect device with data and i want to calculate OEE. I did some searching and see that it matters on feed rate speed, load, and cycles (correct me if i am wrong). Does the agent simulator not have a dataitem that has a cycle value? If not can someone point me to another simulator that does? thank you in advance.

Yep, look for 'Execution' under 'Path', if it is 'Active' and the 'ControllerMode' is in 'Automatic' and the 'Spindle' is running, then we usually call this "In-Cycle". There are so many variables that are required to really be called "In-Cycle", but this is usually pretty close. Take a look at this discussion on the forum - http://mtconnectforum.com/Topic37.aspx?Keywords=in-cycle

Hope this helps

Best,

-Joel
