OEE is a calculated metric and requires data from a device, a production plan, and quality measures. See http://www.oee.com/calculating-oee.html for the formula. See AVAILABILITY in the MTConnect standard for details on how that data element is handled in MTConnect.

Alarms are handled in MTConnect via CONDITIONS. See "Part 3 - Streams, Events, Samples, and Condition" for more on alarms and conditions.

You can download Part 3 along with the rest of the standard here.

Reference the correct version by looking at the header in an MTConnect PROBE output. In this screenshot the version is 1.3 so you would use version 1.3 of the standard from the download page.
