Hi All,

First post and very new to MTConnect.

I will admit my "higher level" programming skills are nonexistent.

Done a lot of PLC programming, etc. but not at all familiar with C++ and so on.

One of our departments already has MTConnect in place.

MTConnect is connected to a few Mazaks and some machines using a 3rd party hardware card.

We are installing some manufacturing cells that consist of 2 machine tools, a robot and a Beckhoff CX2040 as the "cell controller".

The CX2040 runs Windows Embedded Standard 7 Pro, 64 bit and on a trial basis I have installed the Beckhoff OPC UA server.

That seems to work fine, using the Beckhoff OPC UA sample client.

On github I found some examples for an OPC UA adapter, my thanks to William Soble for this.

The links are https://github.com/mtconnect/adapter/tree/master/opc and https://github.com/mtconnect/adapter/tree/master/src.

Using Visual Studio 2010 + SP1, I have been able to get the project to compile.

When I try and run the OPC.exe from either the Debug folder or Release folder, I get a messages shown in the attached.

This is where I am stuck, I think.

Any help or advise would be great.

I think you're missiong OPC components, you can download from OPC Foundation.
